Events for the kids

I love lacrosse. I love lacrosse events.

I’ve been to tournaments all over the country.

Some are awesome. Some are not.

My goal for a long time has been to create something special in Michigan that truly focuses on creating a premium experience for lacrosse families.

Silverback Events was created to do that.

We consider our events to be boutique.

That doesn’t mean exclusive.

That means we take extreme care and keep an eye on the details.

Clean parking lots.

Endline balls.

Transparency on rules.

Fair schedule matchups.

And most importantly, we want to bring together like minded programs who are truly built for the kids.

Our inaugural events in 2026 & 2027 will be held at Detroit Country Day School campus in Beverly Hills, which is home to one of the premier athletic facilities in the Midwest.

What makes silverback events different

  • Our 2026-2027 events will be held at the Detroit Country Day high school campus, home to some of the finest athletic facilities in the Midwest.

  • We will have clear rules for every age group that are followed by referees, coaches, and players.

  • Following the model of other high-level events across the nation, we will age verify every player that participates in our events to ensure and even (and safe) playing field for all.

  • Our events will have capped divisions, meaning, we will vet each program that is interested in joining an event. A lower number of teams per division elevates the quality of the event, as opposed to taking everybody and anybody.

  • Competitive tournament entry rates. We will not gouge you.

  • Endline balls. Clean parking lots. Unique vendors. Compact schedules. Field managers. Communication. Certified officials. Festival atmosphere. Elite player experience. Our goal is to create a truly premium product for programs, coaches, players and parents.
